Intergenerational care has become a universal phenomenon in the world.The study of the policies of intergenerational care support in western countries can provide a practical way to construct and perfect the in-tergenerational care family support system in China.By sorting out western policies from five aspects:employ-ment,health,social services,economy and housing security,it is found that they have the characteristics of flexibility in policy design,diversity of service subjects,targeted support objects and family-oriented policy targets.Based on this,it is suggested that China should play the role of policy support in the construction of intergenerational care family support system,emphasize multiple synergies and improve policy adaptability.
