English Teaching Reform and Learning Implications Based on China's Standards of English Language Ability
Chinas Standards of English Language Ability provides a scientific guiding framework for the reform and development of higher vocational English education,which is of great significance in improving the quality and influence of higher vocational education in China.It plays a role in the teaching and assessment of English at higher vocational level by clarifying the reference standards,promoting the improvement of teaching meth-ods,and enhancing the teaching ability and assessment literacy of teachers,which influences the construction and optimization of the assessment system of English at higher vocational level in terms of guiding the develop-ment of examination contents and standards,guiding the construction and implementation of diversified assess-ment systems,and promoting the self-assessment of students and feedback of learning effects.Reform strate-gies for English teaching based on English proficiency scale are also proposed.
