Anthracycline is one of the commonly used chemotherapeutic drugs for malignant tumors,but the cardiac toxicity caused by anthracycline has become one of the most serious complications of cancer treatment,which limits the clinical application of anthracycline.Traditional Chinese medicine plays an important role in the treatment of malignant tumor.Chinese herbal medicine can prevent and fight against tumors,prevent tumor recurrence,and reduce the cardiac toxicity caused by Anthracycline therapy.In terms of myocardial protection,TCM can reduce myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury,antagonize oxidative stress,improve myocardial remodeling,regulate apoptosis,and further expand the application prospect of TCM treatment.This article reviews the recent progress in the study of the mechanism of Anthracycline cardiotoxicity and the recent advances in the effective treatment of cardiotoxicity induced by it.
