Study on prescription contents of peritoneal dialysis specialist nurses
Objective:Nurse prescribing has been developed globally for more than 50 years,and based on the research and development of nurse prescribing at home and abroad,this study initiated a preliminary discussion on the content and form of nurse prescribing for peritoneal dialysis specialists.Methods:The Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of expert correspondence with 11 nursing specialists,6 clinical medicine specialists and 3 pharmacy specialists in tertiary hospitals to collate,summarize and analyze statistically the results of each round of correspondence to determine initially the content of the prescription.Results:The two rounds of expert positivity coefficients were 0.80 and 1,respectively,and the authority coefficients were 0.90 and 0.82,respectively;there were 73 nonpharmacological prescriptions for peritoneal dialysis specialist nurses,including 45 stand-alone,19 protocol,and 9 stand-alone/protocol;and 23 pharmacological prescriptions,including 9 stand-alone,9 protocol,1 stand-alone/protocol,and 4 protocol/extended prescriptions.Conclusion:The two rounds of expert correspondence in this study were authoritative and the findings were reliable.It was initially established that the prescribing of peritoneal dialysis specialist nurses is mainly based on non-pharmacological prescribing,supplemented by pharmacological prescribing.
