Objective:To investigate the influencing factors of career plateau in nurses and explore the association between nursing work environment and career plateau.Methods:Using the stratified random sampling method,a total of 564 nurses from 7 hospitals in Jinan were selected as the research objects from February to March in 2021.The general status questionnaire,practice environment scale,and career plateau questionary were used to investigate the nurses'career plateau,analyze the influencing factors of career plateau,and explore the association between nursing work environment and career plateau in nurses.Results:The nursing work environment score of the nurses in this study was 93.00(85.00,102.00)points,and the career plateau score was 3.06(2.50,3.50)points.13.65%of the research subjects were in career plateau state.Departments were the influencing factors of career plateau in nurse(P<0.05).After correction for departments,the nursing work environment was negatively associated with career plateau in nurse(B=-0.208,P<0.001).Conclusion:The nursing work environment score of the nurses in this study was at the middle level,and the incidence of career plateau was low.The nursing work environment was negatively associated with the career plateau in nurses.To improve the nursing work environment was helpful to control the occurrence of career plateau in nurses.
