The Trajectory and Law of the Ethical Spirit Towards Chinese-Style Modernization
Based on four rounds of national surveys and eight rounds of Jiangsu provincial surveys centered around the 17th,18th,19th and 20th National Congresses of the Communist Party of China,it has been found that from reform and opening-up to modernization, the ethical and moral development of the Chinese public has exhibited a spiritual history trajectory from"diversity, plurality, variability to binary convergence, then guided by core values, followed by cultural consensus formation, and ultimately cultural gene identity—a process of accumulation from"many"to"one".This trajectory plays out the historical process and cultural symphony of the"modern construction of Chinese ethical spirit",with"ethics""spirit""construction"as the three key words. The development of Chinese ethics and morality as well as Chinese-style modernization follow the laws of ethical culture, with"national"civilization and"ethical without religious"as the two most fundamental ethical cultural laws.
