In recent years,many important works on global history research have been published,but there is still a relative lack of Chinese scholars'own narratives of global history from China.In 2024,the three volumes of Global History Starting from China,edited by Professor Ge Zhaoguang,were published.These books are different from various global history narratives from the West,and they truly present the global history perspective in the eyes of Chinese historians.In order to promote the integration of Chinese history research and world history research in China,we invited four scholars,Ge Zhaoguang,Chen Heng,Zhang Qing,and Duan Zhiqiang,to further extend the discussion in order to explore the writing of global history with a Chinese style and Chinese character.
