Mainstream U.S.Think Tanks Perceptions of Taiwan Topic and Their Influence Assessment(2017-2023)
U.S.think tanks are an important factor that influences American foreign policy-making process.Taking ten mainstream U.S.think tanks as research objects,this paper analyzes representative Taiwan-related researches,assess their influence on American Taiwan-related policy.By doing so,this paper is dedicated to providing useful policy reference for China to make related policies.This paper argues that mainstream U.S.think tanks tend to precept Taiwan topic more and more conservatively,and have a negative stance towards China,which acquires more and more identification in U.S.government and congress.Three think tanks including CSIS and twenty experts including Bonnie S.Glaser have great influence on Taiwan topic.We need to continuously track and monitor the researches of U.S.think tanks related to Taiwan.
