Cognition of"Autonomy"in Taiwan from the Period of Japanese Occupation to the Early Period of Recovery
During the Japanese occupation period,Taiwanese made unremitting explorations in order to resist Japanese colonial rule and find a path to liberation.The"Taiwan Cultural Association"advocated"Taiwan Autonomy"and the Taiwan Communist Party proposed"Chinese National Independence."The Taiwanese who passed through the battlefield of the motherland called for"Taiwanese rule Taiwan."They are all trying to get rid of the Japanese colonial control.Its essence is not to seek"Taiwan independence,"but to better resist Japanese colonial rule and return to the embrace of the motherland.In recent years,the separatist forces have always distorted history and attempted to reshape Taiwan's subjective consciousness and separate Taiwan from Chinese mainland in terms of history and culture.The deliberate distortion of the history of the Taiwanese people's anti-Japanese struggle and the consciousness of the motherland is one of the steps.Therefore,we should strictly follow the unified deployment of the central committee of the communist party of China with general secretary Xi Jinping at its core and strive to"promote the spiritual fit of the people on both sides of the strait,enhance peaceful reunification and identification".We need to attach importance to the"summary and application of historical experience",insist on"speaking with historical facts,"and realize that the exploration and efforts of Taiwanese are evidence of their hearts toward the motherland.
