In the context of socio-economic development,people's demand for electricity is constantly increasing,which poses new requirements for the planning of distribution networks.It is necessary to enhance the supply capacity of the power grid and achieve the development goals of automation and intelligence.The application of power automation technology in the distribution network can achieve the implementation of distribution management work.Applying automation technology to improve the management level and power supply capacity of distribution networks can enhance the economic benefits of power enterprises.This article analyzes the application characteristics and current situation of power automation technology in distribution network planning,and proposes application strategies for power automation technology,in order to provide theoretical reference for practical work.
