Research on Real-time Monitoring and Control of Power Automation System Based on 5G Communication Technology
This paper mainly discusses the application of 5G communication technology in power automation system,especially in real-time monitoring and control.The core technologies of smart grid are summarized,and the importance of integrating advanced information and communication technologies is emphasized.The application of 5G and existing Long Term Evolution(LTE)technology in smart grid monitoring and control is compared and analyzed,especially in real-time performance and fault management.Through simulation experiments and case analysis,the application potential of 5G in power automation system is demonstrated,especially in improving fault detection and processing speed.Besides,this paper also studies the real-time monitoring and control methods of distribution network based on 5G communication technology,such as the monitoring and control management architecture of smart grid,and compares two scenarios of centralized network management based on LTE and distributed network management based on 5G.
