Research on Remote Monitoring and Control of Power System Based on Optical Fiber Communication Technology
With the expansion of power grid scale and the increase of operation complexity,the traditional copper cable communication system shows its limitations when processing large-scale data.With its unique advantages of high speed,large capacity and anti-interference ability,optical fiber communication technology provides a new solution for the remote monitoring and control of power system.Optical fiber technology can improve the efficiency of data processing and transmission,enhance the real-time response ability of the dynamic changes of the power grid,and provide a solid technical support for the stable operation of the power system.This paper discusses the structure of remote monitoring and control of power system based on optical fiber communication technology,compares the traditional method and the method based on optical fiber communication.The experimental test results show that the method based on optical fiber communication in signal-to-noise ratio,bandwidth utilization,response time,data accuracy,fault detection time and system stability,so as to promote the development of remote monitoring and control of power system.
