Influence of Distributed New Energy Sources Connected to the Grid on Distribution Network Protection
With the rapid development of distributed new energy sources and large-scale grid connection,distribution network protection is facing new challenges and opportunities.This paper analyzes the characteristics of distributed new energy sources,discusses the influence of distributed new energy sources on distribution network protection,and discusses the challenges brought by these influences,such as reliability,complexity of fault detection and location,communication requirements and security issues.Based on these problems,a series of solutions and improvement measures are put forward,including advanced protection devices and technologies,intelligent distribution network management system,coordinated control strategy involving distributed power sources,and protection methods based on big data and artificial intelligence.These measures are expected to help the distribution network achieve a higher level of stability,reliability and security to adapt to the rapid development of distributed new energy sources.
