With the rapid development of smart power grid,smart substation,as an important part of the power grid,is playing an increasingly important role.As the key infrastructure to realize the function of smart substation,it is of vital significance to ensure the real-time and security of smart substation.As the basis of smart substation system,the security protection ability of communication network directly affects the stable operation of substation.Therefore,the design of efficient,reliable and safe smart substation communication network system has become an urgent problem to be solved in the construction of smart grid.In this context,this paper aims to analyze the real-time and security of smart substation communication network,discusses how to improve its performance and protection ability,to meet the needs of the development of smart grid,through the study of smart substation communication network,will provide important theoretical guidance and practical experience.
