Fault Analysis and Improvement Measures of Current Transformers in Distribution Systems
As the core part of industrial park infrastructure, the stable operation of the power distribution system directly affects the production efficiency and economic benefits of enterprises. As an indispensable key equipment in the distribution system, current transformers play a decisive role in ensuring the safe and accurate operation of the system by carrying out functions such as current measurement, energy metering, and relay protection. However,in the actual operation process, current transformers often encounter various faults, which not only lead to energy metering errors, protection misoperation or refusal to operate, but also cause power system safety accidents in severe cases, posing significant challenges to the safety production of industrial parks. In view of this, this article takes current transformer faults in distribution systems as the research object, reveal the potential risks caused by current transformer faults to the stability and safety of the entire distribution system, thereby improving the overall reliability and efficiency of the distribution system.
