Research on Wireless Network Localization Technology Based on Improved KNN Algorithm
With the development of indoor positioning technology,Wi Fi based positioning methods have attracted widespread attention due to their simple implementation and low cost.This article addresses the issue of insufficient positioning accuracy in indoor positioning applications using the traditional K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)algorithm.An improved KNN algorithm is introduced,and a Wi-Fi based indoor environment model is built using NS-3 simulation tools.A series of simulation experiments are conducted on the traditional and improved KNN algorithms.The experimental results show that the improved KNN algorithm significantly improves positioning accuracy,especially in handling extreme or outlier data situations,demonstrating high stability and reliability.
