This article explores the application of cloud computing technology in smart grid communication technology,analyzing its significant advantages in terms of data processing capabilities,reduced operation and maintenance costs,and enhanced system flexibility.Meanwhile,it points out the technical challenges,security threats,and privacy protection issues faced in the application of this technology.Through two case studies,namely the"Smart Cloud Monitoring"in East China and the"Green Cloud Scheduling"in a city in North China,the article demonstrates the practical application effects of cloud computing technology in smart grid monitoring and energy dispatch systems,and summarizes the key success factors and lessons learned.With the advancement of smart grid construction,cloud computing technology will play an even more central role in promoting the development of the power industry towards intelligence,efficiency,and sustainability.Future research needs to focus on technological innovation,security assurance,and standardized construction to provide momentum for the sustainable development of smart grids.
