Exploration of Underwater Wireless Communication Technology Supported by Magnetic Induction
This article studies underwater magnetic induction communication technology, aiming to provide an effective communication method for marine resource development and environmental monitoring.By analyzing the characteristics of underwater magnetic fields, design and implement a magnetic communication system, including transmission circuits, reception circuits, and transceiver antennas. The system adopts amplitude modulation signal and increases the transmission power through power amplification circuit. At the same time,an automatic gain control circuit is designed to adapt to different communication distances. The experiment was conducted in an 80 cm×80 cm×30 cm glass water tank, using a 1.6 MHz sine wave signal to excite the transmitting coil, with a communication distance of 0.1~1.0 m.The experimental results show that the conductive properties of water medium make the transmission distance of underwater communication longer than in air,but as the eddy current loss increases, the energy loss of the system becomes more significant.
