Under the new situation,with the development of smart grid,digital visual technology is playing an increasingly important role in the operation and maintenance of overhead lines.The application and advantages of modern digital visual technology in the operation and maintenance of overhead lines have become a hot topic in the industry.Taking this as the background,this paper discusses the application of digital visual technology in the daily operation and maintenance of overhead transmission lines,including the fault diagnosis device,tension clamp temperature monitoring system,wire dancing online monitoring device.By the rational use of the existing digital visual technology,on the premise of ensuring the effectiveness of the operation and maintenance work,and help the development of the industry and even the society.
