随着现代电力系统的发展,输变电线路通信系统在保障电力系统的稳定性和可靠性方面发挥重要的作用,光纤技术因其高带宽、低损耗、抗电磁干扰等优点,广泛应用于电力系统通信.文章对比分析多模光纤与单模光纤的性能差异,探讨多模光纤在输变电线路通信系统中的应用优势.研究结果表明,多模光纤在短距离数据传输中具有高带宽性能,适用于电力系统中的局部区域通信.虽然多模光纤在长距离传输中存在较大衰减和非线性效应,但是可以采用色散补偿技术有效减轻这些影响.此外,光时域反射仪(Optical Time Domain Reflectometer,OTDR)技术在多模光纤中的应用能够快速检测与定位故障,提高系统的维护效率.
Research on the Application of Multimode Optical Fiber Technology in Transmission and Transformation Line Communication Systems
With the development of modern power system,transmission and substation line communication system plays an important role in guaranteeing the stability and reliability of the power system,and fiber optic technology is widely used in power system communication due to its advantages of high bandwidth,low loss,and anti-electromagnetic interference.The article compares and analyzes the performance difference between multi mode fiber and single-mode fiber,and explores the advantages of multi mode fiber in power transmission line communication system.The results show that multimode fiber has high bandwidth performance in short-distance data transmission and is suitable for local area communication in power systems.Although multimode fiber has large attenuation and nonlinear effects in long-distance transmission,dispersion compensation techniques can be used to effectively mitigate these effects.In addition,the application of Optical Time Domain Reflectometer(OTDR)technology in multimode optical fiber can quickly detect and locate faults,and improve the efficiency of system maintenance.
