Research on the Application of OTN Technology in Electric Power System Communication
With the increasing dependence of power system on communication technology,the traditional communication framework can no longer meet its requirements of high efficiency and high security.Optical Transport Network(OTN)technology,with its high bandwidth,high reliability and excellent network management ability,has become an ideal choice for modern power system communication.This paper discusses the application of OTN technology in power system communication,including improving data transmission rate,enhancing network reliability and fault recovery ability,optimizing network resource allocation,and enhancing the overall stability of the system through redundancy design and disaster recovery strategy.Finally,the technology application test is carried out to verify the application effect and potential value of OTN technology in the actual power system.
