With the increasing demand for stable power supply in society,distribution automation technology,as the core method to improve the reliability,security and economy of distribution network,has been widely concerned.By introducing the important role of distribution automation technology in the construction of distribution network,the principles and applications of main distribution automation technologies such as Internet Protocol(IP)communication network technology,wide-area measurement and control technology of distribution network,intelligent distribution network technology and rapid simulation and simulation technology of distribution network are expounded in detail.Finally,the application points of distribution automation technology in distribution network construction are discussed in order to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the intelligent development of distribution network.
