Application and Challenges of Millimeter-Wave Communication Technology in 5G
Millimeter-wave communication technology,due to its high-frequency bandwidth advantage,significantly enhances the speed and capacity of mobile communications in 5G networks,meeting the demands of high-speed mobile communication,enhanced mobile broadband,and ultra-dense cell coverage scenarios.However,millimeter-wave communication faces several challenges,such as short transmission distance,poor obstacle penetration capability,and sensitivity to weather conditions.Through optimization of key technologies such as antenna design and array technology,spectrum management and modulation technology,beamforming,and multi-user access technology,these challenges can be effectively addressed.This will promote the widespread application of millimeter-wave communication technology in 5G,improving the overall performance of the system and user experience.
