Application of 5G in Online Monitoring System for Transmission Lines
With the evolution of the global energy structure and the expansion of power infrastructure,ensuring the stable operation and efficient management of transmission lines has become a top priority.However,the traditional transmission line monitoring method has many limitations,such as slow transmission speed,poor real-time performance,limited coverage and so on.The rise of 5G,with its characteristics of high speed,low latency and large number of connections,has brought revolutionary changes to the online monitoring system of transmission lines.This paper focuses on the application of 5G in transmission line online monitoring system,analyzes the application value of 5G and the challenges faced by 5G in the application process of transmission line online monitoring system,and puts forward targeted solutions,aiming to provide useful thinking and strategic suggestions for the practical application of 5G in transmission line online monitoring system.
