With the rapid development of smart grids, people have put forward higher requirements for data transmission systems. The article proposes a design scheme for a smart grid data transmission system based on fiber optic communication technology.By analyzing the data transmission requirements of the smart grid,a layered architecture was designed that includes a physical transmission layer,a network communication layer, and an application service layer.By adopting technologies such as fiber optic communication,Multi Protocol Label Switching(MPLS),and Service Oriented Architecture(SOA),high-speed,reliable,and secure data transmission has been achieved. The experimental results show that the system has significant advantages in transmission bandwidth, latency, reliability, and anti-interference ability, providing strong support for the large-scale deployment and efficient operation of smart grids.
