Working Principle of MPIC Interface System of Flight Simulator
The interface system of flight simulator is the path of Input/Output(I/O)data information between computer system and aviation equipment,and it is the key subsystem in the simulator system.Multi-Purpose Interface Cards(MPIC)system realizes real-time control and data processing of various devices in flight simulator through high integration of hardware and software.This paper focuses on the characteristics of MPIC system,such as modular design,power management,I/O control,Ethernet communication and fault detection,and expounds the working principle of MPIC system from the aspects of software and hardware.At the same time,by comparing the functional differences of other simulator interface systems,combined with fault cases,the maintenance focus and fault elimination measures of MPIC system are analyzed.
