An AIS shipboard signal decoding technique based on differential polarity discrimination
Based on the signal format and spectrum characteristics of Automatic Identification System(AIS),this article presents a method for correctly demodulating AIS shipborne signals and obtaining the content of AIS messages.By using pulse detection to obtain AIS signals,AIS can be accurately demodulated through phase difference and frequency polarity discrimination.Further based on the signal structure,by searching for start and end markers, and then matching the message ID,AIS message content was successfully ob-tained.Through simulation analysis and platform testing, the algorithm and design scheme used has been validated, indicating that this method can accurately decode AIS shipborne signals.
