Based on the author's handling of a communication failure caused by the failure of a leaky cable to set expansion and contraction reservation,this paper analyzes the necessity of reserving expansion bends from the perspective of the linear expansion coef-ficient of materials and environmental temperature changes through theoretical calculation,reminding Telecommunications engineering project personnel to avoid unstable quality factors and pay attention to details and specifications.
