The Realization of Green Development in People's City Construction:Connotation,Mechanism and Implementation Path
In the new development stage,People's City and green development have enriched new conno-tations theoretically,presenting a new trend practically.Effectively integrating the two into urban and re-gional development process will play a significant role in promoting the green and high-quality develop-ment of People's City and building a new regional development pattern.Based on the analysis of the the-oretical connotations and practical value of People's City and green development,a framework of"people as principal part—function planning—space reconstruction"between People's City and green develop-ment has been constructed.With the practice of Xiong'an New Area as an example,this study focused on the implementation of the concept of People's City to achieve green development,summarized the path and beneficial experience of advancing the symbiotic system of regional environmental governance and multi-pronged promotion of green livable environment through dual-high empowerment,and con-structed urban characteristics,spaces,patterns,and goals that foster co-prosperity of people and cul-ture,integration between people and nature,mutual benefit among people,and co-progress of people and society,which has significant implications for realizing green development and reshaping People's City.
