In the Al era where cybercrimes emerge in an endless stream,the traditional"reactive"model of economic crime investigation is becoming insufficient.There is an urgent need to shift the focus of eco-nomic crime investigation from"downstream response"to"upstream prevention."As an emerging big data investigation measure,criminal wealth investigation performs multiple functions,including identif-ying clues,collecting evidence,combating crime,and recovering stolen assets and damage,etc.This approach allows for more scientificaly and accurately predicting and fighting against economic crimes,remedying the weaknesses of current economic crime investigation mode.It is also advantageous to the re-covery work in economic crime pursuit and the timely protection of citizens'legal property.To construct judicial application system of criminal wealth investigation,it is proposed that the principles of legality,proportionality and precedence shall be upheld,the application scope of criminal wealth investigation clearly defined,the operation mechanism standardized,and the measures for procedural sanctions im-proved.
