Exploring Paths to Enhancing the Influence of University Journals from the Perspective of Expert-led Publication——Take Journal of Taiyuan University of Technology as an example
Through analyzing current dilemmas faced by natural science university journals during the publication process,this paper explored paths of expert-led publication for these journals.With the Jour-nal of Taiyuan University of Technology as an example,this paper examined strategies for enhancing the influence of academic journals at four specific aspects from the perspective of expert-led publication com-bined with practical experience.First is the integration of"points"and"planes"to give full play to the role of editorial board members.Second is tapping into characteristic disciplines to leverage expert strengths.Third is focusing on school-enterprise cooperation projects to promote the transformation of ex-pert outcomes.Fourth is stabilizing the expert team to establish a sustainable publication mechanism.It is proposed that closely relying on editorial board members and experts,while establishing a long-term and stable expert-led publication team,is the main path to running a high-quality university journal.The examples provided in this paper are expected to offer some insights and references for the publication of natural science university journals.
