An Analysis of the Relationship between Wushu Education and Physical Expressive Literacy Cultivate
Literacy education is fundamentally a form of physical education,wherein bodily expressive literacy constitutes an integral component of physical literacy.Martial arts education,with its embodiment of the unity of mind and body,exemplifies the literacy-based educational philosophy.Building upon the theoretical interpretation of bodily expressive literacy,this study primarily analyzes and elucidates the theoretical underpinnings and structural logic behind the role of martial arts education in fostering bodily expressive literacy.It subsequently proposes pathways for the realization of this educational objective.The research posits that the cultivation of bodily expressive literacy capabilities is a comprehensive reflection of martial arts education,a technical requirement of the discipline,and a distinctive manifestation of its"educational method".To better cultivate bodily expressive literacy,martial arts education should adhere to the following approaches:Recognizing the subjectivity of the"body"and tailoring instruction to individual needs are prerequisites for nurturing"bodily expressive literacy";focusing on"expressive"skills and constructing a"teaching and learning"philosophy are critical to the development of"bodily expressive literacy";integrating traditional cultural elements adds unique emo-tional value to the cultivation of"bodily expressive literacy"within martial arts education.
