PE as a Fundamental Aspect of the Social Education System——Modern Physical Educator WANG Geng's Enlightened Opinions Relating to PE
As a fundamental aspect of the social education system,physical education provides unique benefits for the enhancement of knowl-edge and skills relating to physical activity and sociocultural competence,resulting in significant attention within academia.In this thesis,multiple research methods,including literature review,textual analysis and inductive reasoning,have been utilized in order to analyze Chinese modern physical educator WANG Geng's academic principles relating to PE.WANG emphasized the importance of the functions and status of PE in social education relating to the basic theory of school-based PE,the professional ethics of PE teachers,the standards of PE curricu-lum,hygiene education,and the construction of sports venues and facilities,among others,saying PE plays a unique role in promoting ado-lescent well-being and social adaptation.Based on his academic views on PE,it's concluded that there is a need to attach importance to the status of sports exercises like gymnastics in the social education system for adolescents,incorporate health and hygiene into PE,enhance the professionalism of PE teachers,further integrate nationwide fitness and national health,and enlarge the available area for sports activities in various ways.
