A Comparative Study on the Competitiveness of Sporting Goods Trade between China and Countries Along"the Belt and Road"——New Quality Productive Forces to Promote the Promotion of Sporting Goods Trade Competitiveness Strategies
New quality productive forces has become an important driving force to promote the high-quality development of China's foreign trade.This paper calculates and compares the international market share(IMS),TC index,RCA index and SRCA index of sports goods foreign trade between China and 11 countries along"the Belt and Road"economic corridor from 2000 to 2022.The re-sults show that:The overall scale of foreign trade of sporting goods between China and the countries along the corridor is growing,the total amount of import and export trade is rising rapidly,the increase of import trade is much larger than that of export trade,the trend of trade surplus is obvious,but the structure of the export trade of products is not reasonable.The total scale of China's sport-ing goods export trade is more optimistic,the net export capacity advantage is obvious and maintain a high level for a long time,Türkiye,Kazakhstan,Israel,Croatia,Poland and Russia's net export capacity is relatively weak.China's sporting goods foreign trade international competitiveness of the comparative advantage is obvious,but the international competitiveness of various types of product trade gap is large,the product trade long and short board is prominent,Croatia,India,Bulgaria and Türkiye in the compara-tive advantage of different products is obvious,along the route of the countries in the international competitiveness of the golf sport-ing goods and equipment on the overall weak.The root cause,the lack of targeted foreign trade in sporting goods policy support sys-tem,sporting goods brand awareness and brand effect is not strong,sporting goods foreign trade development model is difficult to keep pace with the"Internet+"era,sporting goods industry product structure is unreasonable,sporting goods foreign trade in sci-ence and technology to create insufficient driving force and other reasons have led to the realistic dilemma of"big but not strong"in China's foreign trade in sporting goods.To this end,it is proposed to:Improve the policy support system for the development of for-eign trade in sporting goods;create sporting goods(products)with Chinese characteristics and implement the brand strategy of sporting goods;optimize the structure of foreign trade in sporting goods;strengthen the scientific and technological innovation of foreign trade in sporting goods,and other policy initiatives.
