International discourse power of competitive sports refers to the authority and position of the participants representing sov-ereign countries or organizations in international competitive sports affairs,which embodies the dialectical unity of the rights and powers of the participants in international competitive sports affairs and is closely related to the core interests of the country and the international background.At present,the western world,led by Europe,dominates the international discourse power of competitive sports,while the international discourse power of competitive sports in China lags behind the status of a big country.The main rea-sons are the international political environment,cultural differences,uneven development of competitive sports,insufficient revision of the rules of the game,and weak internationalization of sports media.Facing the changing situation of international competitive sports,competitive sports in China needs to fully express the China standard and tell the story of China to the world in terms of dis-course system,discourse right and discourse power,so as to comprehensively enhance China's international discourse right.
