Digital Economy Development and Regional Innovation Output
Taking the establishment of the National Digital Economy Innovation and Development Pilot Zone as a quasi natural event,this paper studies the effect and internal mechanism of digital economy development on regional innovation output.The re-sults show that the promotion of digital economy development has a positive impact on regional innovation output.Mechanism analysis found that the development of the digital economy mainly promotes regional innovation output through channels such as optimizing and upgrading industrial structure and alleviating financing constraints.The analysis of heterogeneity factors shows that when a region is located in coastal areas,the promotion effect of digital economy development on regional innovation output is more significant.The research conclusion provides inspiration for the policy promotion of digital economy development and the improvement of regional innovation capabilities.
