Influence of Digital Economy on High Quality Economic Development from the Perspective of Digital Divide
Under the Dual circulation,how to deal with the challenges of resources and environment to achieve high-quality eco-nomic development has become an important issue to be solved.Using inter-provincial panel data from 2020-2011,the impact of the digital economy on high-quality economic development is explored from the perspective of digital divide adjustment.Basic re-search shows that the digital economy and its two major sectors,digital industrialization and industrial digitization,exhibit a sig-nificant positive correlation with high-quality economic development;The constraints of the access gap and capability gap brought about by the digital economy significantly inhibit the high-quality development of the economy,In contrast,the moderat-ing effect of the use gap on the quality development of the economy is not obvious.The mechanism analysis suggests that green innovation can play a partially mediating role in the process of digital economy influencing high quality economic development.At the same time,the access gap and capability gap will affect the mediating mechanism of green innovation.Therefore,We ought to positively drive the merger of the digital economy with the real economy.In developing the digital economy,we should pay particular importance to the issue of the digital divide caused by the digital economy,strengthen the connecting role of green innovation intermediaries,and more effectively promote high-quality economic development.
