Network Infrastructure Construction,Entrepreneurial Activity and Urban Economic Resilience
Under the background of high-quality economic development, the strategic significance of network infrastructure con-struction for regional development is more prominent. From the perspective of entrepreneurial activity, based on the panel data of 280 prefecture-level cities in China from 2006 to 2020,this paper uses the time-varying DID method to empirically test the im-pact of network infrastructure construction on urban economic resilience. The study found that network infrastructure construc-tion can significantly enhance urban economic resilience, with an average effect of 37.9%.This conclusion is still valid after ro-bustness tests such as placebo, and this policy effect is more pronounced in eastern regions, larger cities, and cities with more de-veloped traditional infrastructure. The mechanism test shows that entrepreneurial activity is an effective path for network infra-structure construction to enhance urban economic resilience. The research conclusions provide empirical evidence for activating the innovation effect of network infrastructure construction policies and exploring the realization path of enhancing urban eco-nomic resilience.
