A Study on Fast Quasi-far-field Measurement Method Based on Cylindrical Wave Expansion
In order to solve the problems that the conventional anechoic chamber environment can not meet the requirements of the large aperture antenna measurement,the problem of complex test system and low test efficiency,in this paper the high-efficien-cy measurement method for antenna measurement is studied,and the fast measurement of quasi-far-field(QFF)is mainly studied.A QFF transformation algorithm based on cylindrical wave expansion theory is proposed.The proposed algorithm is suitable for measuring antennas with large electrical size in one dimension and small electrical size in other dimension at QFF distance,im-proves the testing efficiency of such antennas and improves the testing capability of the existing anechoic chamber,respectively.To validate the proposed method,three uniformly distributed linear arrays are designed by electromagnetic simulation software.It is found that the simulation and test results verify the correctness of the proposed method.
