Based on the power synthesis theory of coaxial transmission lines and waveguide coaxial transformation,a 6-path di-rectional combiner is developed. The input end adopts an N-type connector and the output end adopts a double ridge waveguide form. The model is optimized and simulated using high-frequency electromagnetic field simulation software CST.The processed ra-dial synthesizer has undergone small signal testing and high-power testing. The test results show that from 4 GHz to 8 GHz frequen-cy band, the synthetic loss is less than 0.36 dB,the return loss is less than-10 dB,and the peak power tolerance is higher than 5 kW.This radial synthesizer has the characteristics of broadband, low insertion loss, high amplitude phase consistency and high power tolerance. It has broad engineering application value in the field of broadband high-power synthesis.
