Important Performances Analysis of Permanent Magnet Motor for EV Drives
The driving performances and electromagnetic vibration/noise characteristics of permanent magnet motor for EV drives were analyzed by FEM simulation. The disadvantage of high cost and long term of permanent magnet sample motor manufacture were overcome. Through electromagnetic simulation, the maximum output torque and flux weakening performances was verified. According to the electromagnetic analysis, the slot was drilled to reduce the weight and improve the ventilation of the rotor. The electromagnetic force waves were analyzed and stator modal was simulated to avoid the property of big electromagnetic vibration/noise.
