Exploring the Research Characteristics,Hotspots,and Trends of Online Ideological and Political Education in Universities
As a new form derived from the development of ideological and political education in universities,online ideological and political education has become an important research topic in the field of ideological and po-litical education in China.By applying bibliometric methods and tools,a knowledge graph of research in this field is constructed using 598 university online ideological and political education literature from 2000 to 2023 as analysis samples,intuitively and systematically displaying its characteristics,hotspots,and trends.Research has found that research on online ideological and political education in universities has gone through four important periods:em-bryonic exploration,initial expansion,stable expansion,and prosperity and improvement.Relevant research has been conducted from the perspectives of epistemology,ontology,and practice,focusing on the concept,character-istics,elements,and practical approaches of online ideological and political education in universities.Looking for-ward to the future,the domestic academic community can enhance and expand its research system,research capa-bilities,practical exploration,and content methods in this field,promoting the high-quality development of online ideological and political education research in universities.
