The Effect of Psychological Capital on Career Decision-making Difficulties of Higher Vocational Students——The Chain Mediating Role of Coping Styles and Future Work Self Salience
The Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire,the Simple Coping Style Questionnaire,the Fu-ture Work Self Salience Scale,and the Career Decision-making Difficulties Scale were used to survey 351 junior students from three higher vocational academies in Guangdong Province.Results:Psychological capital was signifi-cantly and positively related to positive coping styles,future work self salience,and significantly and negatively re-lated to career decision-making difficulties,respectively;Psychological capital can have a direct effect on career decision-making difficulties,or it can act on career decision-making difficulties through three mediating path-ways.Conclusion:Psychological capital can affect the degree of career decision-making difficulties of higher voca-tional students through coping styles and future work self salience.
