Exploration of Countermeasures to Narrow the Urban-rural Income Gap In Zibo City Under the Perspective of Common Prosperity
After"the Twentieth National Congress",Chinese-style moder nization became the fundamental path to achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and the realization of modernization requires the con-tinuous promotion of balanced and coordinated development,and the narrowing of the urban-rural gap and other types of development gaps.Taking Zibo in Shandong as an example,the Tel index is used to study the changes and causes of the urban-rural income gap,and the results show that its overall urban-rural Tel index has gradually decreased since 2017-2021,indicating that the income gap between urban and rural residents has gradually nar-rowed,but the urban-rural contribution rate of more than 90 per cent over the past five years also suggests that the problem of disparity between the urban and rural areas in Zibo is still the most crucial factor affecting the overall in-come gap.It also proposes countermeasures to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas from the as-pects of assistance from towns and cities,institutional innovation,raising the level of education and skills of farm-ers,and constructing a modern rural industrial system.
