Objective To understand the spinal health status of adolescents aged 10 to 15 years old in Weicheng District of Weifang City,and to provide references for early intervention for children and adolescents.Methods According to the principle and method of screening for abnormal spinal curvature in children and adolescents,15 280 adolescents aged 10 to 15 years old in Weicheng District of Weifang City were screened for spinal health.SPSS26.0 soft-ware was used for statistical analysis,including general statistical description and RxC chi-square test.Results The high-risk rate and medium risk rate of AIS in Weicheng District were 7.6％and 1.2％respectively.For female,high-risk and medium-risk group is concentrated in 11 to 14 years old or those who have menstruation,while for male,is concen-trated in 11 years old.In high-risk and medium-risk group,the number of female is more than that of male.High-risk group is concentrated in those with low BMI levels.Conclusion The high-risk rate of adolescent scoliosis in Weicheng district of Weifang City is close to the national average level.Regular screening should continue and follow-up of medium and high-risk groups should be strengthened.Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis should be detected early and intervened ear-ly.
