Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of alfentanil hydrochloride injection for paediatric bronchoscopy.Meth-ods Sixty children who underwent bronchoscopy under general anesthesia with a laryngeal mask at YangGuang Union Hospital were selected for the study. The patients were of all sexes, aged 2~6 years, weighing 9~35kg,American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA)class Ⅰ or Ⅱ.They were divided into group A(alfentanil+propofol)(n=30)and group F(fentanyl+propofol)(n=30)according to the random number ta-ble method. The haemodynamic parameters were compared between the two groups at different time points[before induction of anaesthesia(T0),before tracheal intubation(T1),after tracheal intubation(T2),intraoperatively(T3),before extubation(T4)and after extubation(T5)].Record choking response after induction of anaesthesia, resuscitation indicators and postoperative adverse reactions. Results The differences in blood pressure and heart rate between the two groups at T0 and T1 were not statistically significant(P>0.05),while at T2,T3,T4 and T5,the mean arterial pressure(MAP)and heart rate(HR)in group A were lower than those in group F.The differences were statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).The incidence of choking in Group A was 13.34%,which was significantly lower than that in Group F(56.67%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The recovery time of spontaneous breathing, eye opening time and mask time were shorter in Group A than that in Group F.The Steward score was higher than that in Group F,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in Group A than that in Group F.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Alfentanil hydrochloride injection for paediatric bronchoscopy anaesthesia can facilitate the maintenance of perioperative haemodynamic stability, with high quality of awakening and few adverse effects, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
