Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of butylphthalide combined with citicoline sodium on PSCI and its im-pact on inflammatory factors. Methods A prospective study used a total of 68 patients with cognitive impairment after stroke in our hospital, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria for this treatment.Using proportional random number table method for grouping(34 cases each). The two groups had the same basic treatment, while the control group was treated with butylphthalide; The observation group selected bu-tylphthalide combined with citicoline sodium. Two groups of continuous medication for 8 weeks were used as a course of treatment. The thera-peutic effects of the two groups were compared, and the neurological function(NIHSS),cognitive function(MMSE),and inflammatory factors(TNF-α,IL-6,Hs-CRP)before and after treatment were assessed. Results The total effective rate of the observation group(97.06%)was better than that of the control group(79.41%),with statistical ignificance(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment, the NIHSS score de-creased and the MMSE score increased in both groups after 8 weeks of treatment(P<0.05);And after 8 weeks of treatment, the NIHSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, while the MMSE score was higher than that of the control group, with statisti-cal significance(P<0.05).Compared to before treatment, serum TNF-αlevels,the levels of IL-6 and Hs-CRP decreasedin both groups after 8 weeks of treatment(P<0.05);And after 8 weeks of treatment, the observation group's serum TNF-α,the levels of IL-6 and Hs-CRP were low-er than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of butylphthalide and citicoline sodi-um has a significant effect on PSCI,which can reduce nerve damage, improve cognitive function, and further inhibit inflammatory response.
