Objective To explore the use of multidisciplinary comprehensive diagnosis and treatment(MDT)combined with case-based learning(CBL)teaching mode to offer guidance for leukemia clinical teaching. Methods A total of 42 standardized training students and interns who rotated in the Department of Hematology January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into the improved group and the traditional group according to the batch of admission. The improved group accepted the MDT combined with CBL teaching mode, while the traditional group accepted the traditional CBL teaching mode. The exit examination results and the questionnaire survey compared the differences between the two teaching modes. This study also conducted a patient satisfaction survey and a student follow-up,comprehensively understanding the patient's satisfaction with the doctor's treatment effect and service quality and the impact of the new teaching mode on long-term career development. Results The theoretical examination scores, practical skills examina-tion scores, and clinical practice ability examination scores of the improved group were higher than those of the traditional group(P<0.05);the students of the improved group gave a higher recognition degree of the MDT combined with CBL teaching mode(P<0.05).The patient satisfaction survey results showed the new teaching mode can improve the doctor's clinical skills and the patient's satisfaction. The follow-up results showed that the new teaching mode can positively impact the doctor's career development. Conclusion In clinical leukemia teach-ing,the MDT combined with CBL teaching mode can optimize the teaching effect, improve the comprehensive quality of the resident training students with feasibility, and is worth promoting and applying in leukemia teaching.
