The Connotation Evolution and Evaluation Tool Development of Teachers'General Pedagogical Knowledge in Foreign Countries
General pedagogical knowledge is the key component of teachers'profes-sional knowledge and an important index for measuring the level of teacher professionalism.The connotation evolution of general pedagogical knowledge in foreign countries can be di-vided into a period of static component development and a period of dynamic component ac-tion.The development of evaluation tools for general pedagogical knowledge includes the scenario-based assessment instrument,oral reports,semi-structured interviews,self-evalu-ation questionnaires,other evaluation questionnaires,assessment tools based on Rasch Models,paper-and-pencil tests.Foreign related research has provided useful inspiration for the localization of teachers'general pedagogical knowledge assessment:combining mul-tiple methods of assessment is an effective means to deepen research on general pedagogi-cal knowledge assessment,developing situational assessment tools is a reliable guarantee to enhance the practicality of general pedagogical knowledg assessment,and conducting longi-tudinal tracking research is the future direction to enrich research on general pedagogical knowledg assessment.
