International Experience and Development Trends in Forest Education for Children
Forest education can overcome the serious disconnect between children and nature and forests,mobilise children's multiple senses to perceive nature,awaken chil-dren's feelings for nature,combine direct experience and abstract thinking,and motivate them to become learners who love life and nature.In recent years,forest education for chil-dren has received widespread attention globally,and forest education for children in coun-tries around the world has developed rapidly and achieved fruitful results in practice,accu-mulating a wealth of international experience in such areas as focus areas,curriculum con-tent,education evaluation and institutional safeguards.New development trends have emerged:first,the conceptual reconstruction of social and ecological resilience is being pro-moted;second,interdisciplinary and integrated curricula are being adhered to;third,em-phasis is being placed on teacher training in the context of digital transformation;and fourth,the focus on the innovation of mechanisms for the participation of multiple imple-mentation actors.
